Welcome to LAN-AID

Welcome to the home of LAN-AID!
This site is dedicated to a new fund-raising effort to help raise money for families who are currently fighting cancer. Each year the money raised will go to selected families in order to help them with family and medical expenses while they fight this grave illness. Individual donations as well as the majority of proceeds from the event itself will be given directly to a chosen recipient’s family. The event itself will be in the form of a large Computer Gaming event, offering an opportunity for computer gamers to get together for some serious competitive game play and help a worthy cause at the same time.
We have the following goals that we wish to accomplish with this event:
1. We want to raise money to donate to those in need who are fighting cancer.
2. We want to offer an opportunity for the gamers of the world to have a place to play and compete and fight for a worthy cause at the same time.
3. We want to help promote a positive and competitive environment for game playing.
4. We want to offer the gaming and technology industry an opportunity to promote their products and give to a charity at the same time..
